The Institute 4DM is about making everybody more confident with data. From your first day, to higher levels of certification and mentoring, the Institute 4DM has an offering for you.
We are data specialists. Our materials are developed from our expertise across the data management spectrum. Most of us are former executives across data management, IT management, business and data architecture, design and implementation capabilities.
We are training specialists. Our materials are organised to make it easy for you to follow. We believe training is not about us showing you what we’re capable of. No, training is all about enabling the participant – you – to master skills and identify how you can take concrete ideas back to the workplace to effect positive change and advancement there.
To make the world data confident
To make you data competent

Every job since then, he has found time to develop people’s capability in data, communications, architecture and design and change management.
David has been fascinated by data since the early 1980’s when he began to build data collection and reporting solutions for an energy distribution company. His ability to learn how businesses operate through their use of data gave him insights on how to design their digital systems. David focuses on data architecture and data modelling, helping organisations plan and design solutions to address their data management requirements. David is also an active member of DAMA Australia, including holding positions on the executive committee.

Graham has a knack for finding the right words to explain something to the target reader. Graham has been around data since he worked on a national census project in the late 1980s. He has been a database administrator and data architect for government agencies. Now, as a business architect, Graham knows that data is one leg of a 4-legged stool – if a business’s data is poorly managed, it’s processes, systems, and people can’t keep the stool upright. He has designed and analysed business architectures of several organisations.
