We are data specialists, so our materials are developed from our expertise across the data management spectrum

Our learning
philosophy

We can often think if we read a book or attend a one-day course then we will master a new skill or competency, however, being effective in a role is much more than that.

We offer a resource rich learning environment with ongoing access to our training resources. This learning environment exists to support, develop and hone skills, knowledge and experience in Data Management.

We have worked to:

  • Start all our training from the point of a common everyday experience
  • Introduce concepts slowly, with clear examples and relevant questions
  • Fill our courses with exercises underpinned by a consistent case study
  • Make the experience engaging, using a variety of media, to energise learning
  • Create materials and learning opportunities in a realistic learning time-frame

IT’S ABOUT YOU
It is not about us telling you everything we know, it is about us developing competency in you

We use everyday language and examples to make managing data easy to learn and understand

Our Competency Model

Our courses are supported by a competency model that:

  • Enables you to consider where your staff, or you as an individual, currently sit and how you can advance to the next level

  • Provides a pathway to grow your data competency

  • Enforces a discipline in our instructional design practices so courses meet an intended and specific competency

I feel competent in what I do, but desire to be even better.

I am often called upon to assist others and have professional recognition.

POST COURSE

I can work on defined processes that contribute to the desired outcomes.

I know what techniques are relevant to my role and follow them with coaching and mentoring support.

I can contribute to the development of relevant responses.

I can assess current performance and adjust activity to maintain performance within thresholds.
